When asked about his plans for Dhanteras this year, Manish reveals," For Dhanteras, I usually invest in gold or something that holds long-term value,” he says, adding that this tradition of purchasing something auspicious is a family custom he continues to uphold. “It’s a tradition in my family to buy something auspicious, and I try to keep that alive each year,” he shares.

But Manish’s approach to Dhanteras isn't just about a set ritual; it’s about feeling the right connection with his purchase. “While I don’t follow a set routine every time, I ensure that the purchase symbolizes prosperity and well-being, whether it’s gold, silver, or something that feels right at that moment,” he elaborates.

Beyond the material aspect, Manish values the spiritual side of Dhanteras, a time that’s as much about inner renewal as it is about external rituals. "One tradition I always follow is cleaning the house and doing a small puja in the evening," he shares. “It’s not just about the material purchase but also about welcoming positive energy and new beginnings into the home. This adds a deeper meaning to the celebration beyond just buying things.”
